Slowroll: Stop Doomscrolling
Puts a pause between you and the apps that eat your evening: breathe, say why you opened one, or do ten push-ups first. Blocking is free.
What Slowroll does
- Shows a pause screen before the apps you choose open
- Pause with paced breathing, a countdown, or a “why are you opening this?” question
- Or earn the app with push-ups, squats, or burpees counted by your phone’s sensors, or a step goal
- Per-app session lengths, daily open and minute limits, and schedules
- Strict mode, a daily check-in, a focus streak, and screen-time statistics
For people who lose time to doomscrolling on TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and similar apps.
No account is needed and data stays on the device. Slowroll uses Android’s accessibility service only to detect when a watched app opens; it cannot read screen content.
