HERAZUR LLC / CALM PLANNER
Calm Planner privacy policy
Effective October 20, 2026
This policy explains how Herazur LLC (“we”, “us”) handles information in Calm Planner, our ADHD-friendly daily planner, focus timer, and routine builder. It is published on Google Play as “ADHD Planner: Calm Routines” (package com.calmplanner.calm_planner).
Summary
- You can use Calm Planner without an account. Your tasks, routines, and check-ins are stored on your device.
- An account is optional. If you create one and have Calm Planner Pro, your planner is synced to our cloud database so it is available on your other devices.
- We use Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to see which features are used and to fix crashes. Your task titles and other planner text are not included in analytics events.
- There are no ads. We do not collect your advertising ID, sell your personal information, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- You can ask us to delete your account and its synced data at any time, and clear the planner on your device yourself.
Information we collect
Planner data on your device
Tasks and their steps, energy levels, durations, due and scheduled times, routines and reset templates, Quick Capture notes (typed or dictated), mood check-ins, focus-timer minutes, streaks, daily statistics, the name you enter in Settings, reminder times, and app settings are saved on your device. If you turn on the next-task home-screen widget, the title of your next task is also stored on your device so the widget can show it. Without cloud sync, this information is not sent to us.
Account (optional)
If you create an account, Firebase Authentication stores your email address and your password (which we never see in readable form) and assigns you a random user ID. If you ask for a password reset, Firebase sends the reset email to that address. Calm Planner does not offer sign-in with Google, Apple, or other providers.
Synced planner data (Pro with an account)
When you are signed in and have an active Calm Planner Pro subscription, a copy of your planner is stored in Cloud Firestore under your user ID: the planner data listed above, including your tasks, Quick Capture text, mood check-in history, focus and streak statistics, routines, the name you entered, and the time of the last change. Only your signed-in account can read or write it. If you are signed in without Pro, your planner is not uploaded.
Voice Quick Capture
If you choose to speak a Quick Capture, the app uses the microphone only while you are dictating. Speech is converted to text by the speech recognition service on your device (on most Android phones this is provided by Google), which may process the audio on its provider’s servers under its own terms. Calm Planner receives only the resulting text, which you can review before saving. We do not receive, record, or store the audio.
Purchases
If you subscribe to Calm Planner Pro, Google Play processes the payment and we never see your card details. RevenueCat receives your purchase and subscription status and history so Pro can be unlocked and restored. If you are signed in, this is linked to your Calm Planner user ID; otherwise RevenueCat uses a random identifier it creates.
Usage analytics
Firebase Analytics records how the app is used, for example screens viewed, that a task or routine was created or completed, that reminders or notification permission were turned on or off, onboarding progress, and paywall, purchase, and restore steps (including the plan selected). It also stores your subscription status as a user property and, if you are signed in, your random user ID. Firebase automatically collects standard technical information such as an app-instance identifier, device model, operating system and app version, and approximate country or region. Task titles, notes, names, and email addresses are not sent in analytics events, and advertising-ID collection is turned off.
Crash reports
If the app crashes or hits an error, Firebase Crashlytics sends us the device model, Android version, an installation identifier, the screen you were on, technical details of the error, and, if you are signed in, your random user ID. Your planner content is not included.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send them from a server and do not collect a push token.
What we do not collect
The app does not request access to your location, contacts, photos, camera, or advertising ID, and it does not show ads.
Permissions
Notifications: the reminders you turn on. Run at startup: restores your scheduled reminders after your phone restarts. Microphone: used only when you choose voice Quick Capture; typing always works without it. Google Play billing: Calm Planner Pro purchases. Internet: sign-in, sync, purchases, analytics, and crash reports. You can change notification and microphone access in your device settings at any time.
How we use information
We use information to provide the planner and its reminders; create and secure your optional account; sync your planner across your devices if you have Pro; provide and restore subscriptions; understand which features are used so we can improve the app; fix crashes and errors; respond to support requests; and meet legal obligations.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that process it on our behalf to run the app:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics): accounts, synced planner storage, usage analytics, and crash reports.
- RevenueCat: subscription status and purchase history for Calm Planner Pro.
- Google Play: app distribution and in-app purchases.
Voice Quick Capture uses the speech recognition service built into your device, which is not operated by us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of our users or others. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where data is processed
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses.
Retention
- Planner data on your device stays there until you clear it, delete your account, or uninstall the app.
- Your account and synced planner are kept while your account exists. If your Pro subscription ends, the last synced copy stays in your account until you delete the account.
- Analytics data is kept for the provider’s standard retention period, and crash reports for Crashlytics’ standard period of 90 days.
- Purchase records held by Google Play or RevenueCat may be retained as the law requires.
Deleting your account
Email support@herazur.us from your account’s email address with the subject “Calm Planner account deletion”. We will delete your account (including your email address) from Firebase Authentication and your synced planner data from our database, and confirm when it is done.
In app versions that include it, you can also do this yourself: open the Settings tab, then Account → Delete Account, enter your password, and tap Delete. This permanently deletes your synced planner data from our database, deletes your account from Firebase Authentication, and clears the planner on that device. It cannot be undone. If your version does not show Delete Account, use the email route above.
Copies of your planner on other devices where you used the app stay on those devices until you clear them. Deleting your account does not cancel a Calm Planner Pro subscription: cancel it in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Without an account: your planner exists only on your device. To delete it, open Settings → Clear All Data, or uninstall the app.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can view and edit most of your information in the app, and copy a full backup of your planner with Settings → Export my data. For other requests, contact us at the address below. We aim to respond within 30 days and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and our database rules allow each synced planner to be read and written only by its own signed-in account. Deleting an account requires your password. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Calm Planner is a general-audience planning app built mainly for adults and students. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Calm Planner is not medical advice
Calm Planner is a planning tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, including for ADHD. Talk to a qualified professional about your health.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its effective date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
